6.14 Initiatives taken by the institution to make the campus eco-friendly

 Initiative is taken to set up hybrid power source (solar-1kW and wind- 250W) to provide power
to one of the staff rooms.
 Planned to replace the Tube lights in the phased manner.
 Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) is used to remove contaminants from wastewater and the
treated water is used for watering the plants
 Food waste and vegetable wastes from the canteen are also taken for composting and Project
work
 Extension of green cover
