were organised by the respective
Departments which were given
responsibility for organising the events.

Inclusion of yoga classes for all students. In Electronics and Communication
Engineering and Computer Science
Engineering, yoga was included as a value
added course.

Yoga was taught to the interested students
of all the faculty by the Yoga teacher
appointed on full time basis.

Swatch Bharat. The NSS of the KAHE has organised a
village cleaning camp in the nearby village
on 2nd October 2016, a three day Swatch
Bharat Pakhwada campaign in three

villages from 26 to 28 January 2017 was
also organised. Inside the campus, cleaning
activity is taken up by the NSS at regular
intervals.

1. Conducting Coaching Classes to the students with arrears in the End Semester Examination.

2. Providing “On the Job Training (OJT) ” to the third year Engineering Students.

7.4 Contribution to environmental awareness / protection

The following contributions were made to environmental awareness/protection through the
proactive initiatives by the departments across the KAHE both within and outside the campus:

1. Inside the campus

Awareness is promoted through

➢ Assignments related to environmental problems.

➢ Guest lectures on topics like Save Water, Save Earth, Bio fertilisers in Organic Forming,
Energy Management and Electrical Energy Conservation

➢ Workshops on How to reduce the use of chemicals in the laboratory, Reuse of
Newspaper/Waste paper
