➢  Online Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) pattern as a part of both Internal and End Semester
                       Examinations
                   ➢  Unit test, presentation of articles, case study analysis, lab assessments, comprehensive viva
                       voce
                   ➢  Two sets of question papers for CIA tests which are scrutinized by the subject mentor and
                       respective heads.
                   ➢  Model examination before the End Semester Examination for slow learners.

               6.3.4  Research and Development

                   ➢  Direct review of publication of articles (of the faculty members) by the senior authorities.
                   ➢  Emphasis on the need for publication in the Indexed Journals
                   ➢  Creating an environment to focus on research activities
                   ➢  Monthly  review with the Research Scholars
                   ➢  Need based lectures were arranged on the following topics:
                          •  Writing  a research article
                          •  Ethics in writing research articles
                          •  Preparation of project proposals
                   ➢  Time line presentation and Annual research congress were conducted to review the progress of
                      the research work of the scholars.
                   ➢  Research oriented problems were given to UG and PG students as their projects.



               6.3.5   Library, ICT and physical infrastructure / instrumentation

                          ICT: Smart Boards were made available to the Faculty of Engineering and used
                          extensively.

                         Physical Infrastructure: Need based infrastructure was established.

                         Instrumentation: Instruments were procured based on the student strength.

               6.3.6   Human Resource Management

                   ➢  The departments of the allied disciplines have been integrated for optimising the use of the
                       expertise available.

                   ➢  Training programmes for the non teaching staff.


                   ➢  Weightage for the publication of articles in the indexed journals.

                   ➢  Weightage for the additional responsibilities shouldered by the faculty members.

                   ➢  Providing Skill Development Programmes to the students through industry associations.
                   ➢  Participation in the Industrial Exhibitions.
                   ➢  Focus on collaborations with the industries for knowledge sharing and consultancy.
                   ➢  Instilling interest in the students’minds towards the entrepreneurship.
                   ➢  Certificate/ Short Term courses supported by the industries.
