4.2 Computerization of administration and library
Computerization of library
The Library is fully computerized and the entire gamut of operations such as Acquisition, Cataloguing
and Circulation are automated. Issue and return transactions are done using bar code technology. The
traditional catalogue cards are replaced by OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), which helps the
users in getting information about the availability of books through a number of access points such as
author title or part of a title subject and accession number and so on.

4.5Computer, Internet access, training to teachers and students and any other programme for
technology upgradation (Networking, e-Governance etc)
Training was organised to orient the faculty members for handling the Smart Boards.
Training on the software programme developed for uploading the Lecture Notes in LAN
was given to the faculty members.
