               Yes

               The curriculum for the Engineering Programmes was revised based on the model curriculum issued by
               the AICTE.
               The syllabus of all the programmes for the Odd and Even semester 2018-19 were revised on need
               basis.

               1.5 Any new Department/Centre introduced during the year. If yes, give details.

               A New Centre for Geotechnical Studies in the Civil engineering department was started for carrying
               out  advanced  research  &  consultancy  projects  in  various  areas  of  Geotechnical  Engineering. The
               activities of the Centre include design of conventional and machine foundations, design of pavements,
               stability analysis of retaining structures, ground improvement techniques and third party consultancy
               assignments.
