Dr. P. Thamilarasi, Dean of Student Affairs, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, is an idolized promoter to students. She is the past master of engaging discipline and welfare among students. She has been contributing her continuous zest towards the institution for 24 years. She obtained her Ph.D. in Feminism from Bharathiar University in 2004. Adding to her academic excellence, she had guided 20 M.Phil., scholars and 10 Ph.D., scholars. She published 3 books and 113 articles. She started her career as a lecturer in Karpagam Arts and Science College and she was appointed as the Head, Department of Tamil and Indian languages in 1996. She was upraised as Senior Professor in 2019.
For the past 10 years, she is the Convenor of discipline and cultural committee. She actively conducts personality development and welfare programmes for the students.
