Overview

The goal of CSE department is to make the students reach the mark of excellence in IT arena. Eminent personalities from the industry are invited to address the students which in turn raise the level of confidence among the students. The students are motivated to take part in co-curricular activities and to guide them in organizing guest lectures, seminars, competitions etc.

Infrastructure

The department is well equipped with computer labs with a Server (HP proliant ML350G6 Xeon Processor 2.4GHz) and 180 personal computers (Processor – Intel Core i3, RAM: 4 GB; HDD: 500GB; Monitor – 17 inches wide LG- LCD) with intranet and internet facilities.

  4. A National Level Conference on Wireless, Mobile Computing and Vehicular Networking was organized by the Department of CSE on April 05, 2016. The Experts were Dr.P.Yogesh, Professor, Dept of ICT, Anna University, Guindy Campus, Chennai and Dr.M.Marikannan, Professor, Dept of CSE, IRTT, Erode.
  5. A National Level Technical Symposium DAEMON 2K16 was organized by the Department of CSE on February 16, 2016.
  6. CSE Department has organized a Seminar on Internet of Things on January 06, 2016. Mr.Manikandan, Project Engineer, Newareeliya Soft Tech Pvt. Ltd, Coimbatore.
  7. A National Level Conference on Emerging Trends in Information technology (NCETIT) was organized by the Department of CSE on February 26, 2015. 47 Participants from various Engineering colleges have attended the Conference.
  8. A National Level Technical Symposium was organized by the Department of CSE on January 22, 2015. A total number of 129 Participants from various Engineering colleges have attended the Symposium.
  9. A National Level Conference on Emerging Trends in Information technology (NCETIT) was organized by the Department of CSE on February 26, 2015. 47 Participants from various Engineering colleges have attended the Conference.

  1. A one day workshop on Cybersecurity tools was organized by the department of CSE on July 25, 2019. The resource person was Mr. Sankarraj Subramaniam, CEO, PROMPT Infotech.
  2. A one day workshop on Data Communication and networking organized by the department of CSE on August 19, 2019. The invited speaker is Mr. Moorthi, Telecom Engineer (Retd), Southern Railways.
  3. A one day Workshop on Android Soft Skill Development was organized by the Department of CSE on February 08, 2017. The invited speakers were Mr. Bright Varghese and Mr.Plessed Prince, Professor, Dept of IT, Karunya University, Coimbatore.
  4. A Three Day Workshop on Advanced Digital Marketing was organized by the Department of CSE from February 02, 2017 to February 4, 2017. The resource person was Mr.G.Suresh, E-com specialist / Full web developer, Chennai.
