Department of Management

Department of Management was the first Post –Graduate course started by the institution in the year 1996. It offers two year full time MBA programme leading to a Master’s degree in Management, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes leading to a Research Degree. The Department has an exclusive facility which is endowed with excellent infrastructure and a dedicated team of faculty members to train the students to meet the growing needs of the society. The Department follows a multidisciplinary approach to provide the necessary knowledge, skill and training to the students. The activities of the department are directed towards the all round development of the individual keeping in mind the expectations of the recruiters and the challenges of the environment.

      • Mr.R.K.Saravanan, Marketing Manager in Krishnaveni Carbon Products Pvt. Limited. He has more than 23 years of industry experience. He previously worked in PRICOL Ltd. and TEXMO Industries. In his career, he has developed new products by improving the quality of the product and also reduced the cost of product. For the couple of decades, he is engaged in Total Quality Management in Services and in-charge for implementing ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental systems.

    ABOUT THE EVENT

      • The prime motive of this event is to enhance the students’ entrepreneurial competencies and to kindle an entrepreneurial spirit in their minds. Thus, this event is to develop their business ideas and application of theoretical knowledge into practical by demonstrating a small business. Chief Guest in his inaugural address, also shared the importance of developing entrepreneurial skill and emphasis the importance of Marketing Mix with live business cases. He discussed the value of marketing function. He shared his industrial experience with the students. He gave valuable tips for improving the knowledge and career of the students. He also discussed the pros and cons of social media. At the end of the programme students have clarified their doubts and they also gave their feedback towards the event.
