Department of Computer Technology

Department of Computer Technology is established with state-of-the-art facilities and well qualified teaching professionals in the Eachanari Campus, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (Deemed to be University) and functioning under the Faculty of Arts Science Commerce and Management. This Department is offering 2 Under Graduate programmes B.Sc. Computer Technology and B.Sc. Information Technology and 4 Years Program B.Sc. Computer Technology (Hons) & (Hons with Research) and B.Sc. Information Technology (Hons) & (Hons with Research) The department is committed to the preparation of graduates to address the great challenges in the field of Information Technology and to contribute for research and innovation that ensure the sustained growth in Computing.

Since 2023, this department follows UG Curriculum, based on UGC model with New Education policy (NEP) 2020. The courses are designed to combine rigorous academic study and exhaustive practical exposure for students with in-depth lab oriented courses, projects, and internships.

Students can have their degree with Honors or Honors with Research doing additional courses of their choices from critical domains. The faculty members adopt digital pedagogy to attain the best quality of education.

Briefly, this is a unique place for students, scholars and faculty members to transform themselves to meet social and industrial challenges in a secure and successful way.
